Paper Morsels

Paper Crafts and Sweet Morsels from life.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Here is the card that I sent to my lovely mom for her birthday.   The distress inks were put on a craft mat in stripes and then the stamp was wiggled onto them at different points.  The paper was then embossed to match the stamp.  I love the effect…especially how some of the vine leaves on the same strands turned out to be different colors!

Hey There Cupcake!

Here’s a fun little card I “whipped up”!   I love this little mouse…he’s so cute!  Too bad he didn’t hold the cheese.  I guess he didn’t get the memo that I’m not a fan.

Dream Weaver

It’s a “little” busy at work…so crafting time has been limited!!  I made this one about a week ago when I got my new Distress Inks, which are really fun to play with.  I was inspired by a tutorial I saw on how to make the watery look on the papers, but then instead of using the strips as is, I ended up cutting them up and weaving them together!  I also used the distress inks to make my flower using a new ink stamp/die combo!

Products used:

  • Inks: Tim Holtz Distress Inks by Ranger:  Colors:  Picked Raspberry & Salty Ocean (Summer Ltd. Editions) and Tumbled Glass
  • Die & Stamp for Flower:  Sizzix/Hero Arts Framelits – Bold Pop Design
