Warmest Winter Wishes

It’s no secret I have a thing for snowflake patterns…even my Christmas stockings feature them!  This cute digi from Whimsey Doodles was colored with my shimmery Gelly Rolls – only to find out when they dried that the shimmer was rubbing off!  Well, that’s a no-no for OWH…so I covered them with Glossy Accents.  Now the snowflakes on the mittens actually look 3D – like they are popping up through the clear coating…too bad the photos can’t do it justice!

Happy Birthday Dads!

September is a big month for birthdays…and our Dads both have their birthdays this week!  My DH and I worked as a team to create this first card for his Dad – he did the stamping, coloring and some of the design.  I did the assembly.  The scarlet and gray (go figure) I made for my Dad.  These were the first pop-up cards from my craft room!  🙂  They were made from a clear stamp set I won from a The Alley Way Stamps blog drawing!  How cool is that!!
