Copic Class Day 3 – Shading with Gray

What a busy week it was last week!  Spent this weekend trying to do some catch up on my class “homework”.  Tonight I did the day 3 practice – using gray shades to add shading instead of just using darker colors in the same family.  Some worked, some didn’t! 🙂

Now I have to figure out the problem I am having with bleeding around the edges!

I started some of the other lessons from Day 4 and 5, but will wait til I have more practice images done first!

Copic Class Day 2 – Blending Tricks

Today was about learning 3 different techniques to blend colors using tip to tip transfer, mixing on an acrylic block and feathering. I think I like the acrylic block technique the best!
It was also fun to try to bend colors together that are not in the same family. My favorite today, goes to my “pink lemonade” butterfly 🙂

Copic Marker Class Day 1

Today I started an Online Card Class on Copic Markers for Card Makers. This class is going to give me lots of great tips on how to better utilize my growing Copic marker collection! Today: Basics! How to shade with 2 or 3 markers. They said it was okay to go outside of the lines even though it makes me cringe! Since these are work night posts, they will not be too fancy, I just want to get my “Homework” Posted!

I am looking forward to more fun tomorrow!
