Lawn Fawn Wonderful Window

When I saw this sweet die, Lawn Fawn’s new Wonderful Window, I just had to buy it!  This is my first card with this die and there are so many possibilities that I will be using it again and again!  The tulip base slides into the little flower box.  If you want to make the windows open, you can!  There are also little cut outs for each window pane with tulip cut outs, if you want to totally different look.

Halloween Scene

Halloween is coming!   I love all the candy and cute kidlets in costumes and candy and well, the CANDY! I could do without all the scary movie commercials though! :).  I decided it was time to create a few fun cards for my Halloween loving friends 🙂  The card set was a labor of love because I rarely make multiples.  I used the Misti when I could, but these cards included lots of masking, layers of stamping, and Copic coloring!  This is the cutest one of the set, I think!

Birthday Girls & Happy World Cardmaking Day!

Happy World Cardmaking Day!  I have actually been making cards off and on, but I’m behind on posting them!  I will try to get a few more recent ones up soon.  I am getting ready to make some card kits today, but first I wanted to share a couple of cards I just finished this week.

There are two special young ladies in my life that have birthdays this week.  I just love this image and had a great time coloring it a little bit differently for each one.  The Doodlebug papers are just adorable and perfect for birthdays!  I used some DMC floss to make my own ‘flower’ behind the numbers – which are also a part of the Doodlebug paper pad.  The dresses have a little glimmer from my Wink of Stella pen.  Inside, they say “have a SWEET Birthday”.

Valentines

Yes, yes, I know it is March…but I couldn’t post the Valentines when I made them because I didn’t want anyone to see them before they were delivered and then, well, you know…life! 🙂   The first three were for my nieces, the last one for my DH.

This Lawn Fawn set is called Bugs and Kisses – that’s also what the sentiment says inside!  The designer paper is by Doodlebug, Inc. – called Love Bug.  The glitter paper on all the cards is by DCWV and the silver by Recollections.

This Lawn Fawn set is called – you guessed it – Love You Tons.  So cute!  The ink stamp stripes are “Belinda’s Borders”, also by Lawn Fawn.

This digi image is called Little Puppy Love by Limited Runs Digital Stamps.  The inside sentiment says Sending Warm Fuzzies by Hero Arts “Everyday Sayings” stamps.   How perfect right?!…the envelopes on the paper and the digi and the fuzzy dog!

I have only made a few shaker cards before, this one also uses Lawn Fawn‘s Bugs and Kisses.  The dies are My Favorite Things Die-Namics By the Letters.  The “you” is from Winnie and Walter “The Big, The Bold and You” stamp set.  I used a transparency and foam tape to add the heart sequins in, after I shaded the back layer with Tim Holtz’ Distress Inks.

Cookies n’ Milk

Yesterday was my foray into another Lawn Fawn set – this time: my new Cookies and Milk set!  YUM!  I made 7 cards, here are a few of the variations.  I have to admit, the last one is my favorite, but I just didn’t have much of that paper!  My striped paper was some older stock I had on hand from a summer DCWV stack.   I took the sentiment stamp the set came with and curved it on my acrylic block so that it mimicked the curve of the frame.

Now who wants cookies??!
