Tiddly Inks Christmas Cards

I had some fun making some Christmas cards this year with a few cute Tiddly Inks images. They are so fun to color and I had a good time trying out different skin and hair color combinations.   I never get to make as many handmade cards for Christmas as I’d like to, but I got a few out this year.  I didn’t want to post them til they made it to their destinations!  I always think I’ll start early…I made these in November…maybe next year I should do “Christmas in July” card making!  I hope you all had a fantastic holiday!

Kiddie Card – OWH Labor Day VCMP #6

Challenge #6 was to create a card for a kid that follows the “Tic Tac Toe” chart below.  I chose the top row across to use for my card.  My card has wings (all penguins do, whether they wear mittens or not!).  I used stamping and coloring as well as little snowflake paper punches.

Winter Wishes – OWH Labor Day VCMP #1

Crafting wasn’t on my list for this weekend, but usually read the Operation Write Home blog posts – and there is a Labor Day Weekend Virtual Card Making Party (VCMP) going on!  I really couldn’t resist giving the first sketch a whirl because it looked so easy.  I’m surely not ready for winter, but the OWH timeline is always a few months ahead so the cards can make it to the soldiers in time!
